Software Developer for AI Tools & Applications

About us:

We are an engineering services provider with a dedicated team of 60 employees, and we focus primarily on the simulation-based validation and design of vehicles. Our range of services extends from full-vehicle crash simulations to specialized disciplines such as the validation of high-voltage components. Another department focuses on software development, automation, and embedded systems.

Our vision: To drastically shorten development cycles using AI systems.

Your mission: As a software developer in the field of AI tools, you’ll serve as the bridge between state-of-the-art machine learning models and production-ready software solutions. You’ll not only develop code but also actively help shape the solutions of tomorrow.

Your Tasks:

You will design and develop powerful and flexible generative models for CAD and CAE applications.
You design scalable APIs and backend architectures to seamlessly integrate AI models into existing systems.
You generate and analyze training data for AI models.
Through code reviews and testing, you ensure that our tools run efficiently and securely.

Your Profile:

Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable qualification or professional experience
Confident Working with Python
In-depth knowledge of data analysis and preparation using Python
Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LlamaIndex, or direct API access (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI)
Knowledge of specialized AI hardware, CPUs, and high-performance GPUs (e.g., Nvidia RTX)
You have a strong interest in the latest trends in generative AI and enjoy trying out new tools.
Knowledge of CAE calculations is a plus
You take a solution-oriented approach to your work, prefer flat hierarchies, and are looking for an agile work environment.
Proficiency in spoken and written German and English at a business level
