The aim was to save material through targeted reinforcement while increasing component strength and service life.<\/p><p>Close cooperation between consortium leader Brose Fahrzeugteile SE &amp; Co. KG, research partner Fraunhofer IGCV and industry partners Autenrieth Kunststofftechnik GmbH &amp; Co. KG, Kube GmbH Ingenieurb\u00fcro, Porsche AG and WAFIOS AG has resulted in an innovative combination process involving injection moulding and composite technology.
